Lovely welcome from Norma who had left a vase of fresh herbs ...

Stayed here in the Galileo apartment in July 2008. Lovely welcome from Norma who had left a vase of fresh herbs on our kitchen table and was a friendly face every day as she watered the gardens. Comfortable and large bed with high quality linen; plenty of lovely large white towels. Galileo has its own covered loggia which is great for al-fresco dining and a welcome escape from the hot sun most of the day. Kitchen is well equipped and bathroom modern and spotlessly clean with nice toiletries provided. Swimming pool is absolutely fantastic - a lovely oasis of calm and cool. Gardens are amazing with views over the typical tuscan landscape and vineyards; plenty of comfy sunloungers (in sun or shade) to laze away the hours when not exploring the art and culture of tuscany. Easy day trips to major centres - but set out early if you want to get parking in Florence and Siena. I highly reccommend this place and in my opinion there are no real downsides to the property.
